A Heat Pump Tumble Dryer will work based on the below -
• The dryer must be situated in a room where the ambient temperature is above +5° and below +35°
A Heat Pump Tumble Dryer may not be suitable if –
• The dryer is being placed in a garage, outbuilding or a room where the ambient temperature falls below +5°

As a general rule HEAT PUMP DRYERS will work in a room with a ambient temperature of +5° TO +35° (The BEST drying results come when the room has an ambient temperature of +19° - +24°)

Is it worth paying the extra for a Heat Pump Dryer ?
Although the drying cycle takes longer Heat Pumps use less heat compared to alternaAves. Heat Pumps remove moisture from your laundry which goes into a tank, all remaining air is reheated using the heat exchanger (not using more electricity) and is sent back through the drum mulAple Ames unAl clothes are dry.
The RECYCLING of warm air uses less electricity therefore making it cheaper to run compared to that of a Vented or Condenser dryers. See below
