Q. My sky remote won’t operate my TV

Q: How do I programme a sky remote to work my Panasonic TV?

A: Press Tv on the Sky remote.

Hold the red and select buttons down together until the light at the top of the remote flashed twice.

Press 678 and then select then Sky.

 

Q: The guide on my DVD recorder has no information?

A: You need to do a retune.

Press function menu.

On first screen use the up and down cursor to highlight others. Press OK.

On next screen go up or down to highlight setup. Press OK.

On the next screen you are looking for TUNING using the up and down buttons highlight this then press the right cursor button.

On the next screen go to auto setup. Press OK

Highlight Yes by pressing left and press OK.

 

Q: I have a Snowy picture whats the problem?

A: You are on analogue instead of digital. To switch back you need to press either the TV button or the mode button.

 

Q: My Sky box is frozen what do I do?

A: Switch it off at the wall and leave it for 10 mins then switch it back on

 A. 1.check the batteries

    2 If there is ext-l (in red) on the display please press ext link on the remote

    3.If the display shows dvd1-dvd2 or dvd3 press and hold OK and the relevant number for 3 seconds

A. Whilst in the guide press the guide button on the remote to switch to the preferred layout

A. Press the mode button or TV button on your remote control to change from analogue to digital TV

 

Q. I've lost sound or picture from sky, DVD, etc.

A. A cable could be loose, remove and re-connect cables at both ends.

 

Q. The picture from an outside source (sky or DVD etc) is black and white

A. TV is set to av2-s this can easily be changed back, but varies depending on the model/ age tv you have. please refer to your instruction book or ring us for assistance.

 

Q. Why is there ice on the back of my fridge

A. Your thermostat may be too high, try turning it down a little.

 

Q. The main oven on my cooker isn't working

A. On a programmable oven, the clock may need to be set or you may have accidentally set up a timed cook. Cancel timer(refer to instruction book)
