How Clean is your screen?

There are many different screen cleaning products on the market and customers receive varying advice on the matter from both flat screen manufacturers and retailers.  Flat screen surfaces differ in quality although most of them are made of plastic.  Plastic surfaces are very sensitive and are easily damaged or scratched by daily use and cleaning.

Tests show that the use of the wrong cloth, such as normal housekeeping cloths, can leave serious scratches on the surface even after cleaning only a few times.  AM Denmark uses only microfibre produced with round fibres and soft ends that ensure that the material itself does not cause microscopic scratches.

Correct fluid and cloth are important

In a comprehensive test, two sets of eight different flat screens where intensively subjected to moisture and frequent cleaning.  AM's water based cleaning solution showed clear results against the 100% IPA cleaning fluids (that are used in many cleaning products).

AM screen cleaner formula

AM's specially developed water based screen cleaner formula contains no IPA or other alcohol.  The formula is effective, but also gentle.  AM's screen cleaner fluid can be used on all types of screens or surfaces.
